About Northview Window Fashions
Northview Window Fashions was started by Riana Noyes in 1998 as
a draper to the design trade, and then grew to include retail sales.
After 10 years of steady growth, the business is now situated with
its new state-of the-art workroom at North Muskoka House, 365 Hwy#60,
Huntsville Ont. Canada PIH IB9.
Staffed
by expert sewers Sherry, Wendy. Jean and Jessica, Northview can make all your
custom drapery, valances, bedding, blinds, slipcovers and cushions within a
reasonable turn around time. Also available are a large selection of shades & binds,
shutters by Performance, drapery hardware of all kinds, and down duvet & pillows
by Cuddledown. There are over 10,000 fabric samples to chose from, one just
right for your style and budget. New this coming season are outdoor awnings
featuring a huge selection of Sunbrella fabrics.
For
busy customers, Northview offers a free shop
at home service throughout
the Muskoka/ Parry Sound area. Riana will visit your location bringing
samples and photos of inspiring ideas, taking measurements

Riana’s
forte is slipcovers. These are carefully patterned in the customer’s
home, and the resulting product fits like a glove. Northview has
sewn for decorators from as far away as New York and San Francisco,
for many of the larger lodges and inns of Muskoka, and for hundreds
of cottages and homes in the Muskoka and surrounding region.
There
is an easy ambiance and good lighting in the showroom, with a comfortable
armchair and lots of decorating magazines to view as well as the
many samples. “ There’s no pressure, we’re here
sewing anyway”, says Riana, “we’ll even sell just
the fabric to those who wish to sew for themselves.”
